Earn free credits toward your Fire Science Degree
Join our exciting Fire Science Technology Dual Enrollment program! It’s a mix of online and in-person classes, and it’s free. Most of the time, you’ll have virtual classes during the week, and one Saturday a month, you’ll go in person to an area fire station to learn hands-on skills from seasoned firefighters. These classes meet high school graduation requirements and college credit toward the 开元棋牌 Fire Science associate degree. Course and books are free!
Summer 2025 Course Offerings
Hazardous Materials Chemistry (FST 154) 3 credits: This course provides basic chemistry relating to the categories of hazardous materials including recognition, identification, reactivity, and health hazards encountered by emergency services. This course may have multiple required VR in person scheduled experiences.
Course Runs May 19 to July 1 online, with one in-person, hands-on session on Saturday, June 14th at the Devens Fire Department.
